ART OF HOSTING I (English)

This hosting bootcamp will give you an honest introduction to the industry and prepare you for it.

With an emphasis on working with actual live event scripts from Gala Dinners to Product Launches to Ministerial events, this informative class focuses on presenting fundamentals. So you’ll have a solid foundation to build from and practical skills to use right away.

You’ll discover the importance of breathing, energy levels, verbal and non verbal communication, scripting, delivery and even stage craft. Learn to understand who your audience is, as well as the vocabulary to use for different types of events. With these tools, you’ll have the confidence to kick start a career as a Host.

Limited to only 12 persons, our small group allows us to vary and adapt our approach to training and coaching to accommodate your learning speed.  You’ll benefit from the individual attention and be able to focus on building on your strengths and work on your weaknesses.

You’ll understand industry best practices from our Guest Speakers, who are much sought after Hosts and Event Producers as they share their insights and personal experiences.

Whether you are just hoping to brush up on presenting skills for the next proposal presentation  or wanting to become an Event Host that will be favourably remembered by prospective clients, this workshop will certainly give you the confidence to shine.

This workshop is a pre-requisite to Art of Hosting II.
